I think I will go with the topic of torture. Some questions I may ask include:
-What defines torture?
-Should the US use torture?
-Is torture effective for gaining information?
-Is torture worth the possible negative consequences?
-Has torture proved effective in the past for people that have used it?
-What other uses, besides information gathering, can torture be used for?
I really want to find out whether or not torture can be an effective tool
